STARTING&DRIVING
•Usetheacceleratorpedaltoreachthedesiredspeed,
presstheadjustmentswitch(1),andthenreleasethe
adjustmentswitchandacceleratorpedal,sothatthe
vehiclewillcruiseatthedesiredspeed.
•Whentheadjustmentswitchismovedupwardandheld,
thetargetspeedwillincreaseuntiltherequiredset
speedappearsontheinstrument,andthenreleasethe
switch.Whenitisdeterminedthatthereisnovehicle
aheadorthevehicleaheadexceedsthepreselected
followingdistance,thevehiclespeedwillincreasetothe
setspeed.
•Whentheadjustmentswitchismoveddownwardand
held,thetargetspeedwilldecreaseuntiltherequired
setspeedappearsontheinstrument,andthenrelease
theswitch,thevehiclespeedwilldecreasetotheset
speed.
•Whenthetargetspeedisadjustedbyusingthe
adjustmentswitch,itwillchangeby5mpheachtime
theswitchismovedbriey;Whentheswitchismoved
andheld,thetargetspeedwillcontinuetoriseorfall
at1mphuntiltheswitchisreleased.
Note:Ifthevehicleaheadcontinuouslymakeshard
accelerationordeceleration,theACCsystemmaynot
beabletokeepthefollowingdistanceaccurately,the
drivermustpayattentionandperformtheoperations
suchasbrakingorlanechangeintimeaccordingtothe
surroundingenvironment.
AdaptiveCruisePause/Standby
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactive,short
pressthepilotswitchtocancelthefunction,andthe
adaptivecruisecontrolsystemwillexittotheStandby
state.
AutomaticDeactivationofAdaptiveCruise
Inthefollowingsituations,theadaptivecruisecontrol
systemmaybeautomaticallydeactivated,thistransfersfull
controlofthevehicletothedriver.
•T urnofftheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemswitchon
theinfotainmentdisplay.
•Pressthebrakepedalwhilstthevehicleisinmotion.
•MovetherotarygearknobtoeitherRorNposition.
•Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt.
