Overview
•Newtyresmaynothavethebestadhesiveabilityatthe
beginning.Therefore,drivingyourvehicleatmoderate
speedandinaprudentwayattherst300miles,which
isalsobenecialtotheservicelifeofthetyres.
•Whenpassingkerbsorsimilarroadsections,onlydrive
ataslowspeed,withthewheelsandkerbsatrightangle
asmuchaspossible.
•Regularlychecktyresforsignsofdamage.DONOT
removeforeignobjectssuchasscrewsornailsfromthe
tyre.Ifatyreshowsanysignsofdamage,pleaseensure
itisinspectedbyareputabletyretterforadvice.
•Thevalvedustcapmustbettedtopreventdustfrom
enteringthevalve.
•Ifthetyreistoberemoved,alwaysmarkthetyre/wheel
orientationtoensurecorrectreinstallation.
•Storetheremovedwheelortyreinacool,dryanddark
place.
Thedamageofatyreorrimmayhappenunnoticeably.If
abnormalvibrationordeviationisexperienced,thatmeans
thetyremayhavebeendamaged.Ifyoususpectthata
tyreisdamaged,pleaseslowdownimmediately,andstop
yourvehicletocheckthetyrefordamage.Ifyoucan'tsee
thedamagefromtheoutside,continuedrivingthevehicle
slowlytoanearestMGAuthorisedRepairerforinspection
andservice.
T yreswithDirectionalThreadPatterns
T yreswithdirectionalthreadpatternshavearrowson
thesidetomarkthedirection,anditisessentialto
usethetyresinthis'directionofrotation'(DOR).T o
maintainhandlingcharacteristics,tyreperformance,high
adhesionproperties,lowroadnoiseandextendtyrelife,
tyres/wheelsmustalwaysbettedwithindicationarrow
showingthecorrect'DOR'.
