•Ifthevehiclecatchesre,andthere
issmallandslow,acarbondioxide
extinguishercanbeusedtoextinguish

soonaspossible;ifthereislargeand
spreadingquickly,immediatelyevacuate
thevehicleandcontactthereservices
immediately.
•Ifthevehicleisinvolvedinacollision
andcannotbere-started,thenegative

ServiceDisconnect(MSD)MUSTbe
disconnectedpriortorescue.
•Whenthevehicleiscompletelyor
partiallyimmersedinwater,switchoff
thevehiclepowersystemandevacuate
thecarimmediately.Thenegative

ServiceDisconnect(MSD)MUSTbe
disconnectedpriortorescueorassoon
asthevehicleisreoated/removedfrom
thewater.Observethewater/vehicle
foranyabnormalsignssuchasexcessive
bubblesornoises,thismayindicate
batteryshortcircuitissues.Ifnosigns
areevident,thereshouldnotbeashock
riskfromthebodyworkandrecovery
cancommence.
•Ifyourcarisbeingrecoveredbyan
independentrecoveryagent,please
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairerfor
guidance.
