2WhentheswitchontheinfotainmentdisplayisON,
andthepilotswitch(2)ispressedbriey,theadaptive
cruisecontrolsystemindicatorontheinstrumentwill
turngreen,andtheadaptivecruisecontrolsystem
willbeactivated(thevehiclespeedshouldbegreater
than3mphfortherstactivation).Itstargetspeed
istheactualspeedatactivation(ifthevehiclespeed
isbelow20mph,thetargetspeedofthesystemis
setat20mph).Ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadis
greaterthanthecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,
yourvehiclewillmaintainthetargetspeedtoconduct
constantspeedcruise.Ifthespeedofthevehicleahead
islowerthanthecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,
itwillenterthecar-followingcruise.Animageofyour
carandthecaraheadisdisplayedintheinstrument
packmessagecentre.Inthismodetheactualspeed
maybelessthanthesettargetspeed.Whilstinthe
carfollowingcruisemode,youcanfollowthevehicle
aheadtoastop.Iftheparkingtimeislessthanapreset
timeperiod,yourvehiclemayautomaticallypullaway
tofollowthevehicleahead,oryouneedre-activate
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemusingthemethod
displayed.
Note:ManualdeactivationofeithertheT raction
ControlSystem(TCS)orStabilityControlSystem(
SCS)willinhibittheoperationoftheadaptivecruise
controlsystem.

Adjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,press
theadjustmentswitchtotheright(increasespacing)orto
theleft(decreasespacing)toadjustthefollowingdistance,
whichisswitchedbetween3distancesettingsanddisplayed
ontheinstrument.
Selectthecorrespondingfollowingdistanceaccordingto
therelativespeedtotheprecedingvehicle,thehigher
therelativevehiclespeed,thelongerthedistanceis.
Consideringthetrafcandweatherconditions,therange
ofoptionalfollowingdistancemaynotbesuitableforall
driversanddrivingconditions.
