Frontseatpassengersshouldnotplace
feet,kneesoranyotherpartofthebody
incontactwith,orincloseproximitytoa
frontairbag.
Tominimisetheriskofaccidentalinjury
frominatingairbags,seatbeltsshouldbe
worncorrectlyatalltimes.Inaddition,
bothdriverandfrontpassengershould
adjusttheirseattoprovidesufcient
distancefromthefrontalairbags,soasto
avoidsevereorevenfatalinjurywhenthe
airbagisdeployed.Ifsideairbagsandside
headimpactprotectionairbagsaretted,
bothdriverandfrontseatpassengershould
beseatedtomaintainsufcientdistance
fromtheupperpartofthebodytothesides
ofthevehicle,thiswillensuremaximum
protectionwhenthesideairbags/sidehead
impactprotectionairbagsaredeployed.
Aninatingairbagcancausefacial
abrasionsandotherinjuriesiftheoccupant
istooclosetotheairbagatthetimeofits
deployment.
Whenairbagsaredeployed,children
withoutproperprotectionmaysufferfrom
seriousinjuryorevendeath.DONOT
carrychildreninthearmsorontheknees
duringtraveling.Childrenshouldwearseat
beltssuitabletoage.DONOTleanoutof
windows.
Afterdeployment,therelevantcomponents
oftheairbagswillbecomeveryhot,suchas
thesteeringwheel,instrumentpaneland
bothsidesoftheroofrails.DONOTtouch
airbagrelatedcomponentsafterairbag
deployment,itmaycauseburnsorserious
injury.
