freeofanyobstructions.Donotplaceany
objectsbetweenpassengersandairbags.
Itisprohibitedtoxorplaceanyobjects
onthesteeringwheelcover,oron/nearthe
airbagcoverinthefrontoftheinstrument
panel.DONOTplaceanyaccessories
ordecorationsaroundtheairbags.This
mayaffecttheairbagpassageorcreate
projectilesthatmaycauseinjuryorserious
harmintheeventofairbagdeployment.
Intheeventofacollision,theairbagcontrolunitmonitors
therateofdecelerationoraccelerationinducedbythe
collision,todeterminewhethertheairbagsshouldbe
deployed.Airbagdeploymentisvirtuallyinstantaneous
andoccurswithconsiderableforce,accompaniedbya
loudnoise.
Providedthefrontseatoccupantsarecorrectlyseated
andwithseatbeltsproperlyworn,theairbagswillprovide
additionalprotectiontothechestandfacialareasin
theeventofthecarreceivingaseverefrontalimpact.
Sideairbagsandsideheadimpactprotectionairbagsare
designedtoofferadditionalprotectiontothesideofthe
bodyfacingtheimpact,ifaseveresidecollisionoccurs.
Whenyousituprightintheseatandagainstthebackrest,
seatbeltsandairbagscanprovidethemosteffective
protection.Whenencounteringseriouscollision,airbags
willdeploydrastically.Atthismoment,ifyouorother
passengersdonotuseseatbeltsproperly,andlean
forward,reclineorsitinotherincorrectpostures,youor
otherpassengersarelikelytosufferfromseriousinjuryor
fatalinjury.
