ReplacementofSRSComponents
Eveniftheairbagdoesnotdeploy,collisions
maycausedamagetoSRSinthevehicle.
Airbagsmaynotfunctionproperlyafter
damage,andcannotprotectyouandother
passengerswhenasecondcollisionoccurs,
whichmaycauseseriousinjuryoreven
death.ToensurethattheSRScanfunction
properlyafteracollision,pleasegotoan
MGAuthorisedRepairertocheckairbags
andreplacethemasnecessary.
Airbagsaredesignedforusingonceonly.Oncetheairbag
isdeployed,youmustreplaceSRSparts.Pleasegotoan
MGAuthorisedRepairerforreplacement.
DisposalofAirbags
Whenyourvehicleissold,ensurethatthenewowner
knowsthevehicleisequippedwithairbags,andisaware
ofthereplacementdateofSRS.Ifthevehicleisscrapped,
theundeployedairbagsmayhavepotentialrisks,therefore,
beforethedisposal,theymustbedeployedsafelyina
certainenvironmentbyaprofessionalagencyoranMG
AuthorisedRepairer.
