SpecialDrivingEnvironments
Theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemhasit'slimitations.
Listedbelowaresomeconditionsthatmaybebeyondthe
safeoperatinglimits.Thedrivershouldmaintaincontrol
ofthevehicleandmustremainalertatalltimes.They
shouldpayspecialattentiontothetrafcconditionsand
surroundings,selecttheappropriatespeedandbeready
totakeanyrequiredactions.
1Whenturningatanintersectionorfollowingavehicle
into,oroutofacurve,theadaptivecruisecontrol
systemmaybeunabletodetectthevehicleahead,even
ifitisinthesamelane,itispossiblethesystemmay
detectavehicleinanotherlane.
