Discharging
Thevehicleisequippedwithadischargefunction,this
cancovertthehighvoltageDCpowerinthehigh-voltage
batterypackintodomesticACpower .
Thisdischargefunctioncanberealizedbyusingadischarge
kit.
Note:Usershavetheopportunitytopurchasethe
dischargekitfromanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
T ousethedischargefunction,followtheinstructions
below:
1UnlockthevehicleandaccesstheACchargingport
(thechargingportisalsothedischargingport).
2Insertthedischargegunconnectorintothedischarge
portsocket.Whenfullyconnectedthedischargeport
indicatorwillilluminateblue.
3Accesstheenergymanagementinterfaceinthe
infotainmentdisplayscreen,ensurethecut-offpower
ofdischargeisset.Aftersetting,clickthestart
dischargingbutton,theelectroniclockwilllockthe
dischargeguninplaceandthevehiclewillenterthe
dischargestate.Atthistime,donotattemptto
removethedischargegunusingforce,thiswilldamage
thelockingmechanism.
4Theuserisabletoclickthestopdischargingbuttonin
theinfotainmentdisplayscreentostopthedischarge,
orstopthedischargeafterthepowerisdischargedto
thesetcut-offvalue.Atthistimetheelectroniclock
willautomaticallybereleasedandthedischargegun
canberemoved.
5Makesurethereisnodebrisorforeignmatterinthe
chargingport,tthechargingportcoverandclosethe
chargingpointdoor.
Note:Afterthevehiclestartsdischarging,ifthe
infotainmentdisplaygoesoff,thevehiclewillstill
maintainthedischargingcondition.
Note:Thecurrentpowerstatusandavailabledriving
rangecanbedisplayedontheinstrumentcluster.
Note:Duringthedischargeprocess,theusercanstill
setthedischargepowercut-offpoint.
Note:Duringdischarge,thevehiclecannotbeplaced
in“READY”mode.
Note:Usingthedischargefunctionwillreducethe
drivingrangeofthevehicle.
