theshiftcontrolknobshouldbeinthePark
positionandthepowersystemisOFF.
Iftheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemhas
alreadystoppedthevehicle,andthe
adaptivecruisecontrolfunctionisdisabled,
turnedofforcancelled,thevehiclewillno
longerstaystill,itmaymoveforwardor
slipbackward.Whenthevehicleisstopped
andkeptstillbytheadaptivecruisecontrol
system,besuretobereadytoapplythe
brakesmanually.
Whendrivingonabend,theadaptivecruise
controlmayactivelyreducethevehicle
speedtomaintainvehiclestabilityand
safety.
