IMPORTANT
Whenthemotoroftheelectricdrivetransmissionis
underoverheatingprotection,inordertoavoid
damagetothemotor,thepowerofthevehiclewill
belimited(themessagecentrewilldisplay“Power
Limited,LimitingSpeed”,andwarningindicator
will
illuminate).Afterdecelerating,thewarningswill
disappearwhenthemotortemperaturereturnsto
normal.
ElectricDriveTransmissionFailure
Ifageneralfailureisdetectedintheelectricdrive
transmissionsystem,thewarningindicatoronthe
instrumentinterfacewillilluminateinyellow,pleasedrive
withcaution.Forseverefunctionalmalfunction,the
warningindicator
willilluminateinred.Pleaseparkthe
vehiclesafelyandcontactanMGAuthorisedRepairerfor
serviceassoonaspossible.
GearShiftSystemFailure
Insomecases,whenafaultorseverefailureisdetected
inthegearshiftsystem,themessagecentrewilldisplay
“EP”.Forsafetyreasons,ifthevehiclespeedisbelow
apresetspeed,thepowersystemwillisolatethepower
transmission,andthevehiclewillnotbeabletobedriven,
pleaseseekanMGAuthorisedRepairerimmediately.
