Whentheemergencybrakingmanoeuvreisexited,the
HAZfunctionwillbeswitchedoffafterafewseconds.
Note:Asthevehiclespeeddropstobelow6mph(10
km/h)andthebrakelampsnolongerash,thehazard
warninglampswillilluminateautomatically.Short
pressthehazardwarninglampbuttonorincreaseyour
speedtoabove12mph(20km/h)formorethan5
secondstoswitchoffthehazardwarninglamps.
Multi-CollisionBrakeSystem(MCB)
TheMCBfunctionwillautomaticallyapplythebraketo
reducethevehiclespeedandimprovethevehiclestability
afteracollision.Itisdesignedtoreducetheriskofa
secondarycollisioncausedbytheuncontrolledmovement
ofthevehicleafteracollision.
TheMCBwillbeactivatedwhenthefollowingconditions
areallmetatthesametime:
•Avehiclecollisionwhereseatbeltsorairbagsare
deployed;
•Thevehiclespeedislessthan37.5mph(60km/h);
•Thesteeringwheelhasnotbeenturnedinexcessof
180°;
•SCSisfaultfree.
Ifthedriverrmlypressestheacceleratorpedalaftera
collision,thesystemwillnotbetriggered.
Ifthedriverrmlypressestheacceleratorpedalafterthe
MCBfunctionistriggered,thesystemwillexitthebraking
state.
Note:TheMCBfunctioncannotguaranteethatthe
vehiclewillslowdowninallcollisionsituations,asthe
collisionmaycausesomepartstomalfunctionorfail,
affectingthenormaloperationofthefunction.
