1DONOTparkthevehicleinconditionswherethe
ambienttemperatureexceeds45℃formorethan15
days.Thiswilleffecttheperformanceandservicelife
ofthehighvoltagebattery.
2T omaintainorimprovetheservicelifeofthehigh
voltagebattery,itisrecommendedthatyouuseaslow
chargingmethodwhereverpossible,rapidcharging
shouldonlybeusedforlongdistancejourneysor
emergencies.
3Itisrecommendedusingthevehicleatleastoncea
month.
Wherepossibleitisrecommendedthatyoucarryout
aslowcharging(equalisationcharging)everymonth
toextendtheservicelifeofhigh-voltagebattery
pack.Thebatterymanagementsystemwillmonitor
thestatusofthehighvoltagebatterypack.After
monitoringforaperiodoftime,ifanequalisation
chargehasnotbeencarriedoutforsometimethe
messagecentreintheinstrumentpackwilldisplay
‘PleaseSlow-chargetheV ehicle’.Atthistimeyoumust
carryoutanequalisationcharge.Foroperationmode,
pleasereferto‘EqualisationCharging’in‘Starting&
Driving’section.
4Whenthevehicleisusedforthersttimeorafter
alongperiodofstorage,theSOCdisplayedonthe
instrumentmayhavedeviation.Afullychargeis
recommendedbeforeuse.(Batterypacktype2)
5Intheeventofanaccident,damagetothehigh
voltagebatteryoranyofitsrelatedcomponents,or
anyrepairsmadetothehighvoltagesystemthecar
mustbeinspectedbyqualiedpersonelatanMG
AuthorisedRepairer.
6Intheeventofanyaccidentorbodyrepairsbeing
requiredpleaseconsultthequaliedpersonnelatan
MGAuthorisedRepairer.Therepairmayrequirehigh
