IMPORTANT
TheAutomaticHighBeammaynotoperatenormally
inthefollowingcases,butnotlimitedtothem,sothe
mainanddippedbeamsshouldbeswitchedmanually:
•Thewindscreenisdirty,brokenorobstructedby
otherobjectsblockingtheviewofthesensor.
•Thelampsofothervehiclesaremissing,damaged,
blockedorcannotbedetectedduetoweatherand
otherreasons.
•Whenpedestrians,non-motorvehiclesandother
objectswithnoobviouslightorreectedlightare
encountered.
•Whentheheadlampsandtaillampsofothervehicles
cannotbedetectedduetothesensorviewbeing
impairedduetoundulatingroadconditionssuchas
bends,dipsorhills.
•Whenthecarisdrivingonawindingroador
mountainousroad.
•Thewiperswitchisinthe"Fast"position.
Theautomatichighbeamsystemisdesignedtodetectthe
lightintensityinformationofthevehicleinfrontusingthe
vehicleforwardcameraandswitchthemainbeamonor
offwhencertainconditionsaremet.Whentheautomatic
highbeamisenabled,theautomatichighbeamindicator
intheinstrumentpackilluminates.Forsomemodels,the
automatichighbeamfunctioncanbeswitchedon/offvia
theinfotainmentsystem.Theautomatichighbeamsystem
canbeturnedonoroffonthelargescreen.
Inthecaseofautomaticcontrol,thesystemwill
automaticallyturnonthemainbeamwhenthesurrounding
environmentisdarkandthereisnolightdetectedfrom
anyvehiclesahead,oroncomingvehicles;whenthe
surroundingenvironmentisbrightenoughorthesystem
detectstheheadlampsortaillampsofthevehicleahead
oroncomingvehicles,thesystemwillautomaticallyturn
offthemainbeam.
T oenabletheautomatichighbeamsystem,thefollowing
conditionsmustbemet:
1ThelightleverswitchisintheAUTOpositionandthe
dippedbeamturnsonautomatically.
2Thevehicleisrunningandthespeedisabove25mph
(40km/h).
