12.13 Technical Information
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Information
Medical electrical equipment requires special precautions regarding electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC). Radio frequency (RF) communications equipment can affect
devices such as Rythmic™ Evolution pump. As such, the pump should not be adjacent
to these type of equipment. If it is not practical, then observe the pump to make sure it is
operating properly after installation.
Guidance and manufacturer’s declaration: electromagnetic emissions
Important
The use of non-recommended accessories may result in increased EMC emissions
or decreased EMC immunity of the Rythmic™ pump. Refer to Chapter 10, paragraph
10.7 "Accessories"
