divided into four chapters and two appendices.
Chapter 1 - Installation Describes how to install the SmartPrep degasser.
Chapter 2 - Operation Describes how to operate the SmartPrep degasser.

Menus
Describes the functions accessed from the system
menus.
Chapter 4 - Maintenance Provides maintenance information.
Chapter 5 - Ordering
Information
Provides part numbers and descriptions of the
SmartPrep system components and accessories
that may be ordered from Micromeritics.
Appendix A - Forms Contains a form used to record degas conditions.
Appendix B - Error
Messages
Lists the error messages displayed by the Smart-
Prep software; includes a cause and action for
each message.
Conventions
This manual uses the symbols shown below to identify notes of importance, cau-
tions, and warnings.
Notes contain information to help you operate the instrument more
effectively.
Cautions contain information to help you prevent actions which could dam-
age the instrument.
Warnings contain information to help you prevent actions which could cause
personal injury.
