CONTINUATION OF “ERROR NUMBER” ALARM DISPLAYED
CAUSE REMEDY
SYSTEM ERROR 5 displayed
The measured Resistivity Value (@ 25 C) is
> 65.5 M.cm. The displayed Resistivity
may not show > 18.2 M.cm.
Air in the Product Water tubing near the
Resistivity Sensor can cause this. Make sure
the Quantum Cartridge is Air Purged. See Section
4-7 for more information.
SYSTEM ERROR 7 displayed
The POU Dispenser will not dispense water. You will
not be able to dispense water.
Contact Millipore.
SYSTEM ERROR 8 displayed
The POU Dispenser will not dispense water. You will
not be able to dispense water.
Contact Millipore.
SYSTEM ERROR 10 displayed
There was a problem reading or writing
data to the Data Storage Prom (E
2
Prom).
Placing the system into STANDBY Mode then back
to PRE OPERATE Mode will erase this message for
a few days.
The system will still produce high quality
water. Continue to use the system. Contact
Millipore to have this error fixed.

Prom defective. Turn off/on the Milli-Q and
dispense water for > 6 minutes. If the message continues
contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 1 A10 PCB A/D converter defective. Turn off/on the Milli-Q
and dispense water for > 6 minutes. If the message
continues contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 2 A10 Thermistor defective. Turn off/on the Milli-Q and
dispense water for > 6 minutes. If the message continues
contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 3 Problem occurred with temperature compensation. Turn
off/on the Milli-Q and dispense water for > 6 minutes. If the
message continues contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 4
The water entering the A10 is < 4 C. Contact
Millipore.
A10 ERROR 5
The water entering the A10 is > 41 C. Contact
Millipore.
A10 ERROR 6
The conductivity of the water entering the A10 is > 1.1
S/cm. Contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 7
The temperature inside the A10 during its analysis
mode reached > 55 C. Contact Millipore.
A10 ERROR 9
The TOC is very low or a problem occurred with the
A10. Contact Millipore.
