Milli-Q Synthesis/Synthesis A10 81
THE PROBLEM IS A MESSAGE IS DISPLAYED WITH A FLASHING SERVICE OR ALARM LED
LCD MESSAGE DISPLAYED REMEDY
EXCH. CARTRIDGES
 The Q-Gard Pack and Quantum Cartridge have
been installed for 180 Calendar Days or the
Resistivity is < 16 M.cm (the Resistivity Setpoint).
 Replace the Q-Gard Pack and Quantum
Cartridge.
 Check the value of the Calendar Day timer and the
Resistivity Setpoint – Contact Millipore to do this.
START SANIT.
 Perform a Sanitisation of the UF Cartridge. See
Section 6-5 for information on how to do this.
TOC > SETPOINT
 The displayed TOC value is greater than the TOC
Setpoint. Contact Millipore about changing the
TOC Setpoint.
CARTRIDGE OUT
 Either the Q-Gard Pack or the Quantum Cartridge
is not pushed in far enough or is absent.
NO FEED WATER
 Someone has installed a level sensor device to the
Milli-Q. The level of Feedwater is too low
according to the level sensor device.
REBOOT SYSTEM
 The A10 has been trying to process a
TOC Analysis unsuccessfully for 15 minutes.
 Turn off then on the electrical power to the Milli-Q.
 Contact Millipore if this frequently occurs.
EXCHANGE A10 UV
 The small UV Lamp on the A10 TOC Monitoring
Device has been installed for 365 Days.
 You can continue to use the system to produce high
quality water until the A10 UV Lamp is replaced.
