Installation
CAS3-G models (IGG): Remove transport locks
t Place the weighing platform at its installation location, remove the weigh-
ing pan.
t Remove the transport lock: Remove screw 1
t Loosen screw 2.
t Turn the mounting bracket 180° and re-secure screw 2.
t Re-attach screw 1 to the lever
CAS3-G models (FEG): Remove transport locks
t Set up the weighing platform in the vicinity of your work area, remove the
load plate (1), and remove the red plastic caps.
t Loosen the fastening screws on the retainer plates using the Allen wrench (key)
that is supplied with the weighing platform. Slide the retainer plates in the
direction of the arrows.
t Afterwards, retighten the retainer plates so that they are not in contact
with the pins.
t Use the Allen wrench (key) to remove screw no. 1, and loosen screw no. 2.
Turn the red color-coded transport locking device by 90° in the direction of the
arrow, and refasten the transport locking device.
t Make sure to retighten all screws that belong to the transport locking devices.
t Place the load plate on the platform.

The transport lock must be re-installed before transporting the weighing platform.
Weighing Platform, Leveling
The weighing platform must be exactly level to ensure reproducible weighing
results every time. Therefore, the weighing platform must always be re-leveled
after it has been moved to a dierent location.
t Remove the weighing pan.
t Loosen the lock nuts using a wrench (SW17).
t Use a SW5 Allen key to screw the leveling feet in/out.
Turning the leveling feet clockwise lifts the weighing platform,
turning the leveling feet counterclockwise lowers the weighing platform.
