a) Expansion board
There is no problem since the components have not changed.
b) Special function unit/block
There is no problem since the components have not changed.
c) Other restrictions
The new configuration is as follows due to the addition of an extension power supply unit between the
FX
2NC-16EYR-T and the FX2NC-16EYR-T:
- One FX
2NC-16EYR-T unit is connected to the main unit.
There is no problem with this configuration since it satisfies the restriction for the
number of connectable units (1 unit).
- One FX
2NC-16EYR-T unit is connected to the extension power supply unit.
There is no problem with this configuration since it satisfies the restriction for the
number of connectable units (5 units).

The restrictions for the number of input/output points, the restriction for the 5V DC power supply
capacity and the restriction for the number of connectable units are satisfied and the
configuration is valid when an extension power supply unit is added.
