Installing the Keypad Flex Assembly (For PMHN4457_, PMHN4462_)
Prerequisites: Recommended tools:
• Plastic Tweezers
• T-6 Screw Bit
• Torx Driver
Procedure:
1 Stick 1pc Keypad Flex Retainer conductive pad on the Keypad Flex metal stiffener, follow the
legend drawn on metal stiffener.
2 Engage Keypad Flex Board-to-Board connector onto the Keypad PCB Board-to-Board
connector. Make sure click sound is heard to make sure it is fully engage.
3 Activate Keypad Flex adhesive to Front Housing side wall by pressing on it for 10 seconds.
4 Tongue in Keypad Flex Retainer.
5 Using the Torx driver with the T-6 screw bit, tighten the Keypad Flex Retainer screw.
6 Stick 1pc Keypad Flex Retainer conductive pad on the Keypad Flex Retainer, follow the legend
drawn on the Keypad Flex Retainer.
