Testing Transmitter Using IFR 2968
Procedure:
1 Press RF Gen Level. Enter -90 dBm and press RF Gen Level.
2 Press PTT.
NOTE: Press and hold the PTT to read the results.
Monitor the IFR Manual Test screen that displays the results for the following:
Power Profile
Burst Timing
Vector Peak
Vector RMS
Frequency Error
Residual Carrier
Burst Power Required Results: 28.0–32.0 dBm (Class 4) or 30.5–34.5 dBm
(Class 3L) or 33–37 dBm (Class 3)
Power Profile: Passed
Burst Timing: ± 0.25 Symbols
Vector Error: Max 10% RMS, Max 30% Peak, Max 5% residual
Frequency Error: ± 100 Hz
3 Press Clear Down to proceed with other tests.

RTC Setup
The Real Time Clock (RTC) section consists of several counters and registers used to maintain the
Time of Day (TOD) application on SIM model.
The following conditions apply to SECTRA Tanapa Only - PMUE5763_.
The RTC retention time with fully charged coin cells can sustain for more than 9 days.
The operating temperature for the coin cell is from -20 °C to 60 °C. Performance can be limited
when operating outside of this range. Examples of performances are charging and time retention
performance.
SECTRA Tanapa does not support the Battery Hot Swap feature.
Procedure:
1 Install the radio battery.
2 Turn your radio ON for 3 hours.
3 Press MenuMain MenuSetupTime & Date.
4 Select Display to set up display shown.
