Performing Front Housing Kit Troubleshooting
Procedure:
1 Replace the front housing kit, and reassemble the radio.
NOTE: Ensure that the main O-ring, battery connector seal, and SIM card door seal are
not pinched during assembly.
2 Perform leak test following the steps from Performing Vacuum Leak Test.
3 Perform one of the following actions:

Pass Troubleshooting ends here.
Fail Continue to the next step.
4 Reassemble the front housing kit on to the golden sample kit, and perform the vacuum leak test
again.
5 Perform one of the following actions:
If… Then…
Pass Front housing kit is good for reuse.
Fail Scrap the front housing kit.
6 Proceed to Performing Miscellaneous Troubleshooting.

Procedure:
1 Reassemble the whole radio.
Leakage may be due to improper assembly.
2 Repeat Performing Leak Area Troubleshooting with a second golden sample set.
