The maintenance mode available for each ink type and ink configuration setting are as follows: (N/A: unselectable)
•4-color configuration
Advanced Settings 9: Multi Layer
Enables or disables to print more than one image data on the same media layer
by layer.
Setting values
<Off> / On
<> indicates the default setting.
Note
• If you select “Off”, the printer will ask you to remove media after printing one data and load a new media to print next data.
• If you select “On”, just sending the next data to the printer, you can print more than one data on the same area of the media.
• In the case of “Adjust Print”, “PF Adjust” or “Test Print”, you will have to set the media in place again even if you select “On” for this.
Advanced Settings 10: Ink Maintenance
The printer runs automatic ink maintenance while not in use for a long period of
time.
If color inconsistencies appear on the print, use the "Full" mode.
• This menu does not appear in the 4-color configuration printer with UH21 ink.
The rest of the menus will be displayed with a different menu number.
Setting values
Ink maintenance operation will be carried
out at a normal frequency.
This is the default setting.
Ink maintenance operation will be carried
out at a lower frequency.
Ink maintenance operation will be carried
out at a higher frequency.
