EXHAUST AND CHEMICAL WARNING
Engine exhaust, some of its constituents, and certain vehicle
components contain or emit chemicals known to the state of
California to cause cancer and birth defects and reproductive
harm. In addition, certain fluids contained in vehicles and cer-
tain products of component wear contain or emit chemicals
known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth
defects or other reproductive harm.
FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION
REGULATION
Regulations such as those issued by the Federal Highway
Administration or issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety
and Health Act (OSHA), and/or state and local laws and regu-
lations, may require additional equipment for the way you
intend to use the vehicle. The registered owner is responsible
for determining which laws and regulations are applicable to
the intended use of the vehicle, as well as arranging for the
installation of any required equipment. Contact your autho-
rized service center for information regarding optional equip-
ment available for your vehicle.
REPORTING SAFETY DEFECTS
If you believe your vehicle has a defect which could cause an
accident, injury, or death, immediately contact the National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition
to notifying Mobility Ventures, either at service@mv-1.us, or
at (877) MV1-FORU (877-681-3678). If NHTSA receives
similar complaints, it may open an investigation. If it is found
that a safety defect exists within a group of vehicles, NHTSA
may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA
cannot become involved in individual problems between you,
your service center, or Mobility Ventures.
To contact NHTSA, you may either call the Auto Safety
Hotline at 1-800-424-9393 (or 1-202-366-0123) in the Wash-
ington D.C. area), or write to: NHTSA, U.S. Department of
Transportation, Washington, DC 20590, or e-mail at
www.nhtsa.dot.gov. You can also obtain other information
about motor vehicle safety from the hotline.
