Ramp 119
Ramp Retraction - Mechanical Override
The power ramp circuit is protected by a 40A fuse located in
the power distribution block as well as a self-resetting circuit
breaker located at the ramp controller. In the event of a loss of
power to the ramp due to the activation of the circuit breaker,
wait 5 to 60 seconds for the circuit breaker to reset.
NOTE:
The ramp will operate slowly the first time
retracting after a loss of power until the system locates its
“home” position the first time.
If the self-resetting circuit breaker continues to activate repeat-
edly, discontinue use of the power ramp, recover the ramp
using the mechanical override procedure below and have the
system checked at an authorized MV-1 Service Center.
To retract the ramp:
1. Obtain the ramp tool kit located in left side of the vehicle
rear compartment next to the tire inflator kit.
2. Remove the screws on large cover plate on the floor of the
driver’s side of the vehicle with the 2mm Allen socket
tool. To use the tool, attach it to the extender then to the to
the T-handle tool that was included with your vehicle.
3. Remove the cover plate then pull up on the ring to remove
the release pin from the drive sprocket.
