6. To program additional new unprogrammed key(s), repeat
steps 1 through 5.
If successful, the new coded key(s) will start the vehicle’s
engine and the anti-theft system indicator will illuminate for
three seconds then go out.
If programming is not successful, the new coded key(s) will
not start the vehicle’s engine and the anti-theft indicator will
flash on and off. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to try to program the
key(s) again. If the failure repeats, take your vehicle to your
authorized service center to have the new spare key(s) pro-
grammed.
