1.4 Procedures for Using GTWIN
7. Arrange the parts on the screen.
Using the parts function, specify functions such as switches, data displays, and
keyboardsonthebasescreen.To usethepartsfunction,select“Parts”onthemenubar,
and then click on “Open Parts Library”. This displays a “Select Parts Library” screen.
Normally, the “Standard” parts library is used.
For information on the differences between the various parts libraries and on using
the parts function, see GTWIN Help function.
8. Save the screen file.
Save the screen file that has been created.
Click on “File” on the menu bar, and then on “Save As”.
The “Save File” message dialog box is displayed. Confirm the contents carefully, and
then save the file under any desired file name.
With GTWIN, multiple files are saved (although treated as a single file by GTWIN).
Because of this, a folder with the same name as the name of the file is automatically
createdinGTWINwhenthefileissaved,underthefoldertowhichthefileisbeingsaved,
and multiple files are saved in that folder. Please be aware of this when saving files.
9. Transfer the file to the GT.
Send the screen file that has been created to the GT, by clicking on “File” on the menu
bar, and then on “Transfer”.

10. Print the screen contents.
- Clicking on “File” on the menu bar and then on “Print” displays a dialog box where the
screen file can be printed.
- Clicking on “File” on the menu bar and then on “Print Pattern” displays a dialog box
where the print pattern can be specified.
- Toenterprintersettings,clickon“File”onthemenubarandthenon“PrinterSetup(R)”.
