What does [Screen No. Error] mean on my NAiS Monitor and how do I fix it?

  The [Screen No. Error] message on your NAiS Monitor can appear for several reasons: 1. Screen settings from the PLC, the GT main unit’s switch part, or the auto-paging indicate an unregistered screen number. 2. When bringing up the keyboard screen during data input, an unregistered keyboard screen number was specified. 3. GT configuration data and keyboard screen data exist in the GT main unit, but there is no base screen data. To resolve this, create and register screen content or specify the correct screen number. Create and register a keyboard screen or specify the correct keyboard number. Transfer base screen data from GTWIN.

Why is the buzzer sounding continuously on my NAiS GT10?

  If the buzzer is sounding continuously on your NAiS Monitor, it means that Bit F of the first word in the basic communication area bit device is set to ON. To stop the buzzer, set the F bit to OFF on the PLC side. Do not use the basic communication area with ladder programs.

Why does the backlight color change or flash on my NAiS Monitor?

  If the backlight color changes or flashes on your NAiS Monitor, it is because Bits A and B, and Bit D, of the first word (backlight color setting) in the basic communication area bit device are set to ON, or Bits C and D (backlight flashing setting) are set to ON. To fix this, perform correct bit operations on the PLC side. Do not use the basic communication area with ladder programs.
