Upgrading Firmware
You can upgrade Nokia IP40 Security Platform to a new firmware version of the product. If you
are subscribed to Software Updates, firmware updates are performed automatically. These
updates include new product features and protection against new security threats.
If you are not subscribed to the Software Updates service, you must update your firmware
manually.
To update firmware manually
1. Click Setup on the main menu.
The Firmware page appears.
2. Click Firmware Update.
The Firmware Update page appears.
3. Click Browse.
A browse window appears.
4. Select the firmware file that you purchased.
5. Click Upload.
6. The IP40 firmware is updated.This might take one minute.
When the update is complete, the IP40 restarts automatically.
Installing Your Product Key
Nokia IP40 Security Platform is identified by the product key that is obtained when you
purchase the device. You can purchase and upgrade to any of the other versions of IP40.
