Acceleration/deceleration time

Acceleration/Deceleration Time Setting
• Set the motor acceleration/deceleration time.
• The set time here is the acceleration/deceleration time from 0 Hz to the maximum frequency. The
actual acceleration/deceleration time varies depending on the frequency reference value.
• This parameter is for setting the time constant of the primary delay filter with respect to the output
frequency during acceleration/deceleration when V/f control (F42/A14 = 0 to 3) is selected. Set this
parameter when an overshoot or undershoot occurs when the frequency arrives at the target fre-
quency or the rotation of the motor stops and this causes mechanical problems. Setting a large val-
ue stabilizes the output frequency but worsens response.

Additional Information
When a short deceleration time is set, the regenerative amount that is fed back at deceleration
increases. When the regenerative amount exceeds the allowable capacity of the inverter
, either
the deceleration time is extended by the setting of Anti-regenerative Control Function Selection
(H69), or overvoltage (OU2) is detected. T
o shorten the deceleration time, use the regenerative
braking function. For details on the regenerative braking function, refer to 5-12
Regenerative
Braking Function on page 5-75.
