14. FAQ
Q1: Unit functioning in skantest program is proper, but in SOCT Copernicus PLUS software there
is no tomogram,
A1: There is problem with software or synchro cable. Check or reinstall software or replace cable
and perform tests.
Q2: Power measured on the exit of the diode is lower than 3,5mW.
A2: If diode have connectors between optic fibre outgoing from diode and coupler, the power
loss on the connectors is too high. Replace connectors.
If optic fibre is welded, and power is lower than 3,5mW, we qualify diode to be exchanged.
Q3: Diode’s outgoing power is >=3,5mW, but on entrance to the scanners collimator power is
lower than 950 uW.
A3: It’s problem with the attenuator or optic fiber connector. Exchange the attenuator, clean the
optic fiber.
Q4: While performing movement in X,Y,Z axis in SOCT program, you are able to notice scanners
turning off. At the same time scanner status diodes shine with red light.
A4: Improper functioning scanner wire, or broken scanners. Check or exchange wire, if that
doesn’t help exchange scanners with wiring.
Q5: After connecting servomechanisms to the controlling board, stepper motor shows no
reaction to the controller signal.
A5: Broken controller board or stepper motor. Exchange of the stepper motors controller board
or stepper motor. Checking cables.
