13.10 Cleaning optics
Tools needed to do activities shown in this instruction:
- cotton cloth;
- brush;
- - optical fiber cleaner
1. Clean objective lens with clean soft cloth.
a) From outside.
b) Internal surface. Move the refraction on maximum plus position.
2. Open SPOCT head cover (see: Opening cover).
3. Visual opinion of state of optics:
- check in cleanness of lens and different glass components in refraction and
objective path and spectrometer.
- check the transparency of optical units, are visible some splinter of glass or crack in
structure of glass.
