Replace the Battery
Gently push the battery toward the service processor to release it from the retention clip.

Unpack and install the new battery.
Press the new battery into the battery holder with the positive side (+) facing the side of the
server.

If you needed to remove a PCIe card from slot 6, replace that card.
See “Install a PCIe Card or Filler” on page 110.

Return the Server to Operation.

Reset the system clock.
a.
Use the Oracle ILOM clock command to reset the system clock.
The following example sets the date to August 22, 2016, and the timezone to EDT.
-> set /SP/clock datetime=081221302016 timezone=EDT
