4.3.3 Connect—LAN
Connects to the PBX in Interactive mode through the Local Area Network interface of the PBX.
A CTI-LINK card must be installed and the IP address of the PBX set, to use this feature. For more details,
see "4.7.12 Slot [1-1] CTI-LINK Card Property".
The settings are as follows:
To connect using a LAN
1.
From the Connect menu, select LAN.
2. Enter the settings as required.
3. Click OK.
4.3.4 Connect—Modem
Connects to the PBX in Interactive mode through the modem.
To access the PBX remotely using this feature, an RMT card must be installed and the analog remote
maintenance floating extension number assigned. For more details, see "4.17.4 Miscellaneous [11-4]".
The settings are as follows:
Setting Description
IP Enter the same IP address that was input in IP Address of 4.7.12
Slot [1-1] CTI-LINK Card Property.
Port Enter the same port number that was input in Maintenance Port
Number of 4.7.12 Slot [1-1] CTI-LINK Card Property.
Password Enter the password corresponding to the Programmer Code used
to log on to the Maintenance Console.
Setting Values Description
Profile Name Enter a name used to identify this set of
values.
Port COM1–COMx Specify the number of the COM port
assigned to the PC's modem interface.
Only available COM ports will be
displayed.
NL Code CR, CR+LF Specify the code to be sent to signify the
end of a line. Choose CR+LF.
Baud Rate 1200bps, 2400bps,
4800bps, 9600bps,
19200bps, 38400bps
Specify the speed of data transmission.
Flow Control None, Hardware Specify whether the rate of data transfer
is managed by hardware or not. Choose
Hardware.
