11. Using the Wi-Fi function
Sending images to a smartphone/tablet
Preparations:
• Install the “Image App” in advance. (P151)

Select the menu.

Press 3/4 to select the connection method, and then press [MENU/
SET].
• WPS is a function that allows you to easily set up a connection with a wireless LAN
device and make security-related settings. To check whether your smartphone supports
the function, refer to the operating instructions of the smartphone.
> [Setup] > [Wi-Fi] > [Wi-Fi Function] > [New Connection] >
[Send Images While Recording] or [Send Images Stored in the
Camera] > [Smartphone] > [Direct]

[WPS (Push-Button)]
1 On the camera screen, press 3/4 to select [WPS
(Push-Button)], and then press [MENU/SET].
2 Set the smartphone to the WPS mode.
• You can wait longer for a connection by pressing [DISP.] on
the camera.
3 On the smartphone, start “Image App”. (P151)
[WPS (PIN code)]
1 On the camera screen, press 3/4 to select [WPS (PIN
code)], and then press [MENU/SET].
2 Enter the PIN code of the smartphone into the camera.
3 On the smartphone, start “Image App”. (P151)
