Troubleshooting
First, try out the following procedures (P183 to P191).
• The battery is exhausted. Charge the battery. (P22)
• [Economy] is enabled. (P135)
• When [ ] ([4K Pre-Burst]) is set, the battery drains faster.
> Select [ ] ([4K Pre-Burst]) only when recording.
• Is a Wi-Fi connection being used for a long period of time?
The battery can become flat quickly when connected to Wi-Fi.
> Turn the camera off frequently by using the [Economy] etc. (P135)
• The 4K Photo and Post Focus functions are not available during Wi-Fi connection.
• When the ambient temperature is high or continuous 4K photo recording is performed, after
[ ] is displayed, recording may stop to protect the camera. Wait until the camera cools down.
• Picture might look whitish when lens gets dirty with fingerprints or similar.
> When it is dirty, lightly wipe the surface of the lens with soft and dry cloth.
If the problem is not resolved, it may be improved by selecting [Reset] (P137) on
the [Setup] menu.
Battery and power source
The camera cannot be operated even when it is turned on.
The camera turns off immediately after it is turned on.
This unit is turned off automatically.
The battery becomes flat too quickly.
Recording
Cannot perform recording with the 4K Photo or Post Focus function.
4K photo recording stops before finishing.
The recorded picture is whitish.
