3.1 Components
The Quantum GX2 microCT Imaging System includes scanner with a movable sample holder
surrounded by a rotating gantry (Figure 3.1). The gantry has an X-ray source and a flat panel detector
mounted on it. The detector and slide can be moved radially to change the magnification. Multiple
bore sizes are available, depending on the magnification chosen.
