It is recommended that you use a lint-free wipe, such as Scott Pure
®
wipe or a Kaydry EX-L
®
wipe
to minimize the presence of particulate matter in the imaging chamber.
After saturating a lint-free wipe, clean the internal surfaces using a gentle circular motion. Use extra
care when cleaning the radiolucent insert since it is a delicate assembly. Do not pour or spray the
solution directly onto internal surfaces. Rinse surfaces using a wipe saturated with sterile deionized
water. Do not allow puddles of water to remain on the surfaces.
Consider dedicating a Quantum GX2 microCT for immunodeficient animals to remove the risk of
cross-contamination.
