GPIO Port provided in ProntoNet with serial number 8938/00250 or later
A subD 25 pin socket provides a general purpose connection with 7 inputs and 7 outputs. The
connections must be wired according to the following diagram:

Pin 1 is connected to +5 volts. If you need it , run this power supply through
your device with a resistor in series to limit the maximum current to 300 mA.
Inputs
The inputs are active for grounding (active low).
Outputs
The outputs are “open collector”. They allow an output of 5VDC on one pin to facilitate
interconnection with the outputs. Each output supports up to a maximum of 40VDC / 40 mA and
will require a pull-up resistor to function with other logic inputs. An appropriate value is 2.2
Kohms.
