The MODE option is to select if the unit will work as MASTER or SLAVE.
From version 4.0.1:
1.- The encoder mode of the slave (backup configuration) can be
configured. In previous versions, the slave worked with the same encoding
mode selected for the main line (IP or X21), provided that this settings
were available for an ISDN communication. Otherwise, the encoder will be
configured in MPEG LII 64 kbps by default. Due to this change, the menu
options will be different depending on the mode selected: Slave or Master.
2.- There is a new option in the Backup configuration to force that the unit
goes to the backup line. Once the force backup has been activated, the
unit will go to backup after the timer down is over. This tool is useful for
the main line maintenance operation without interrupting the audio
transmission.
When configured as MASTER:
When configured as SLAVE:
The ENABLE option activate or not the backup functionality. Also, there is
an option to force backup operation, as explained above.
