Components can be damaged or
destroyed by electrostatic voltages.
– Before any work, on electrostati‐
cally sensitive components, dis‐
connect the power supply.

When working on electrostatically
sensitive components, wear an
earthed anti-static wrist band.
– Always hold components by their
corners and never touch conduc‐
tors, ICs, etc.
– Only place components on anti-
static supports or the original
packaging.
