The battery switch panel is located in the aft section of
the cockpit circular seat. The panel consists of 3 battery
switches marked port and starboard engine along with
the battery marked master which is a “deep cycle” house
type battery. This type of battery features heavier plates
than standard batteries.
During normal cruising and mooring operations the bat-
tery switches should all be in the “on” position. Each
battery circuit is protected from the battery switch back
to each battery by a 105 amp resettable breaker. Each
battery switch features an “ON” and “OFF” selector
switch.
When leaving the vessel turn all battery switches to the
off position. The automatic bilge pumps will remain en-
ergized even though the battery switches are off.
AVOID POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT FAILURE
NEVER TURN THE BATTERY SWITCHES
TO THE “OFF” POSITION
WHEN THE ENGINES ARE RUNNING.
DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE ENGINE
ALTERNATORS.
