Equipment Operation
WASH DOWN-FRESH WATER
The fresh water wash down is located on the forward
deck at the forward port storage locker.
It consists of a cold water faucet. When the vessel is
hooked up through the dockside water inlet the fresh
water wash down operates using city water. Away from
the mooring the vessel fresh water tank is its source.
To use connect a hose and nozzle to the faucet and turn
the faucet handle. This feature is especially valuable for
washing off salt spray or debris from the deck surface
along with brightworks such as railings and deck
components.

The dockside water inlet is located on the transom. It
allows a dockside hose to be connected to the inlet valve
hose bib. With the hose connected a valve inside the water
inlet bypasses the boat’s fresh water tank saving the on
board water for cruising needs.
There is a regulator inside the water inlet that permits
water pressures up to 35 psi’s to enter the boat.
This eliminates excessive water pressure from bursting
water lines and causing leaks in the boat’s water system.
