Equipment Operation
System Q
When playing different types of music this feature let’s
you recall the best sounding preset.
Select the source to set by pressing the SRC button.
Select the sound type by pressing the Q button. Each
time the button is pressed the sound setting changes.
Sound Setting Display
Natural “Natural”
Rock “Rock”
Top 40 “Top 40”
Pops “Pops”
Jazz “Jazz”
Easy “Easy”
Each setting value is changed with the speaker setting.
First, select the speaker type with the speaker setting.
When the value is set up by Audio Control “user” dis-
plays.
Audio Control
Select the source for adjustment by pressing the SRC but-
ton.
Enter the audio control mode by pressing the VOLUME
knob.
Select the audio item for adjustment by pressing the VOL-
UME knob. Each time the button is pressed the items
that can be adjusted switch as shown below:
Adjustment Item Display Range
Base level Bas L -8 to +8
Mid level Mid L -8 to +8
Treble level Tre L -8 to +8
Balance Bal Left 15-Right 15
Fader Fad Rear 15-Front 15
Exit the audio control mode by volume control mode.
Audio Setup
Setting the sound system up, such as volume offset and
loudness.
Select the source for adjustment by pressing the SRC
button.
Enter the audio setup mode by pressing the VOLUME
knob for at least 1 second..
Select the audio item for adjustment by pressing the VOL-
UME knob for at least 1 second.. Each time the button
is pressed the items that can be adjusted switch as shown.
Adjustment Item Display Range
Voume Offset V-OFF -8 to +0
Loudness Loud ON-OFF
Volume offset- Sets each source’s volume as a difference
from the basic volume.
Loudness- Compensates for low and high tones during
low volume. When loudness is on, loud indicator is on.
Exit audio setup by pressing the volume knob for 1 sec.
Speaker Setting
Fine tuning so that the System Q value is optimal when
setting the speaker type.
Enter stand-by by pressing the SRC button. Select the
standby display.
Enter speaker setting mode. Press the volume knob.
Select the speaker type by turning the volume knob.
Each time you turn the knob, the setting alternates
betwwn the settings shown below:
Speaker Type Display
OFF SP Off
For 5 by 4 speaker SP 5/4
For 6 by 9 speaker SP 69/6
For OEM speaker SP OEM
Exit speaker setting mode by pressing the volume knob.
