Gas Generator-Checking Oil
Check the crankcase oil level before each outing. Let the
generator run to warm up properly. Level the unit.
To check the oil:
1. Remove the sound shield cowling.
2. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.
3. Reinsert dipstick and remove again.
4. The oil level should be between mark 1 & 2 as shown
in the illustration. If the oil level is below mark 2 do not
attempt to start the generator until the correct type and
amount of oil is added or severe internal engine damage
could result.
OIL LEVEL CHECK
Adding oil between changes is a normal procedure. The
amount of oil will vary on intensity of use.
