FLOORING- CHERRY & HOLLY
Cherry & holly flooring is featured in the salon. This type
of wood flooring adds durability and a planked nautical
appearance to the cabin. Be careful not to drop objects
on the flooring or to scratch the surface. Use mild soap
and water with a soft cloth for spot cleaning. Periodi-
cally use a wood floor cleaning kit you can purchase at a
box store. Do not use any harsh cleaners or abrasives on
the floor.
HATCHES
The hatch features a
locked position for seal-
ing the cabin shut during
cruising and for general
security.
To lock the hatch first
grab the handle and turn
it so it engages the side of
the seal ring as shown.
Push the lock mechanism to engage the handle in the
locked position.
To unlock the hatch pull the handle away from the seal
ring (in line with adjuster) or 90 degrees from the locked
postion.
To open the hatch make sure the hatch is unlocked. Then
push the rod up and lock at desired angle with the ad-
juster.
A screen is provided to protect against insects. Secure
the screen by turning the tabs at a 90 degree angle to the
screen framework.

The transom door must be closed at all times the boat is
moving. To enter and exit the cockpit, lift the door by the
stainless steel framework. Momentarily hold the door up
while you pull it toward the bow.
There is a safety mechanism in the door hinge that causes
resistance if the door is pushed aft when the door is prop-
erly closed.
