Timing belt: Removal - Refitting

a Rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction at the
timing end.
a Bring the camshaft pulley mark to half a tooth before
the mark on the inner timing cover.
a Push the TDC setting pin (Mot. 1054).
a Turn the crankshaft clockwise (timing end) until the
crankshaft is set.
a The camshaft pulley mark should be aligned with the
inner timing cover mark.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
- the bolts (3) of the high pressure pump support
bracket,
- the high pressure pump support bracket.
a Undo the timing tension wheel nut (4) .
a Remove the timing belt.
