a Rotate the timing system through six revolutions
with the exhaust camshaft pulley, using the (Mot.
799-01).
a Check that the adjustable index (47) is opposite the
notch (48) , if this is not the case:
- loosen the timing tensioning roller nut by up to one
turn while holding the eccentric with a 6 mm Allen
key,
- gradually move the adjustable index marker (47)
opposite the mark (48) turning the eccentric cam
(49) clockwise.
a Torque tighten the tensioning roller nut (27 N.m).

Note:
Check that the exhaust camshaft pulley nut and
the inlet camshaft pulley nut do not come into
contact with their respective pulleys. Also, from
time to time, secure the pulley of each camshaft
against its respective camshaft.

Note:
Check that the exhaust camshaft pulley nut and
the camshaft dephaser pulley bolt do not come
into contact with their respective pulleys. Also,
from time to time, secure the pulley of each
camshaft against its respective camshaft.
