Camshaft seal at timing end: Removal - Refitting

a parts always to be replaced: Camshaft timing
sprocket nut (10,02,02,18).
a Degrease and clean using SURFACE CLEANER
(see Vehicle: Parts and ingredients for the repai-
rwork) (04B, Ingredient - Products) and a CLEAN
CLOTH :
-the camshaft seal mating face on the camshaft,
-the camshaft seal housing in the cylinder head.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Screw the stud (11) of the (Mot. 1632) onto the
camshaft.
WARNING
Do not scrape the joint faces of the aluminium,
any damage caused to the joint face will result in
a risk of leaks.
WARNING
To ensure proper sealing, the gasket surfaces
must be clean, dry and not greasy (avoid any fin-
ger marks).
